Yoga classes for every body

Increase flexibility

With regular yoga practice everyone can become more flexible - whether you want to touch your toes with your hands or your head.

Reduce stress

Yoga helps bring more awareness to your breathing and as a result can lower stress levels, clear the mind and relax the body.

Sleep better

Although there is a difference between the deep relaxation of yoga and sleep, many people who practise yoga find they sleep better too.

Yoga classes

My regularly scheduled classes are suitable for most people who have some yoga experience. They contain breath practices, poses and relaxation. I also offer classes for beginners and less able bodies. I believe yoga is for every body

Live online yoga classes

These sessions are open to my regular students only, or by invitation.

Monday      7pm – 8pm

Introduction to yoga

Four-week beginners course, at the end of which you will have a basic understanding of the key poses of yoga and be able to join safely a regular class.

Restorative yoga class

Using props to open the body gently, restorative yoga is a way to relax, unwind and experience how it feels to rest deeply.

Yoga4Health

The Yoga4Health Yoga on Prescription 10-week programme helps NHS patients to gain self-care skills by learning yoga breathing, relaxation and mindfulness techniques. No prior experience is needed and the gentle stretching and strengthening yoga postures can be done in a chair or on a yoga mat.  You can join the programme through your GP or Social Prescribing Link worker or you can contact me.

Additional yoga classes

Workshops and events

I run occasional workshops on a specific aspect of yoga. These provide the opportunity  to increase your knowledge and to refine your yoga practice. I also offer free community events.

Chair yoga

Many people, particularly those who are older or have reduced mobility, can benefit from gentle stretching using the support of a chair. I also lead chair yoga sessions with adults with learning disabilities.

Small groups and 1-1

I offer yoga on a one-to-one basis or with small friendship or corporate groups. The group sessions normally last one hour and are created to suit all levels of yoga experience.

Yoga teacher

I am an experienced yoga teacher and a member of Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK).
I have had the privilege to study with some of the best teachers in the world. I qualified as a Relax and Renew® trainer with Judith Hanson Lasater.

My teaching combines yoga flow with deep rest and relaxation. I continue to study on a formal basis whenever I can.
